The project is presented here in the form of the panel of 20 prints that I gained Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society with. The panel was exhibited, along with my ARPS Documentary panel, during July and August 1999 at The Camera Club, London. The image marked * was selected for the 142nd RPS International Print Exhibition in 1998.

My thanks go to all my models for their patience during some uncomfortable poses.

I hope that all the following photographs display well on your monitor. For me, this has demonstrated just how lacking a black & white image can be when displayed on a monitor, compared with the carefully printed and toned print. Colour photographs seem to display well, but the subtlety and quality of the b&w print just seems to be lost.
