Water 350 ml
Acetic acid (80%) 22 ml
Silver Nitrate crystals 3.75 g
Water to 500 ml
Store solution away from light. To test a washed print or film, cut off a small strip of rebate and wipe off surface water. Place a drop of HT-2 on the emulsion surface and allow to stand for 2-3 mins. Rinse off. There should be little or no staining. Prints can be compared with a Kodak hypo eliminator colour chart.
